Joel's tenure as Chairman and President of GSA Consulting Group Inc. saw the management consulting firm grow from a small core team of three consultants to a company with over 75 employees in offices across Canada and the US, doing business globally. In this role, he developed successful service offerings for sectors as diverse as professional services, healthcare, insurance, pharmaceutical, finance, and government.
Joel has held a number of executive positions with high-tech companies; among them, he directed eHealth efforts for the Bank of Montreal subsidiary Cebra, and was the former Chief Information and Knowledge Officer for Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Canadian Health Industry Electronic Commerce Association (HIEC), where he has directed and led many cross-industry electronic commerce initiatives for the insurance sector. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Information Studies.
He is currently teaching in a graduate programme and working towards a PhD in information and knowledge management at the University of Toronto iSchool. He was appointed in 2003 to the Entovation 100 Global Knowledge Leadership Map, which includes global thought leaders and practitioners in the field who are playing a role in shaping the new knowledge-based economy. He is Practitioner in Residence at the University of Toronto's Knowledge Media Design Institute. Mr. Alleyne is also a faculty member and Senior Research Associate with the Kaieteur Institute for Knowledge Management.
Scott W. Ambler is the Practice Leader Agile Development at IBM Corporation. Scott works in the IBM Methods group developing process materials and travels the world helping clients understand and adopt the software processes which are right for them. Scott is an award-winning author of several books, including books focused on the Unified Process, agile software development, the Unified Modeling language, and CMM-based development. Scott is a regular speaker at international IT conferences and is a contributing editor with Dr. Dobb’s Journal.
Prior to working for IBM, Scott led the development of several software processes, including Agile Modeling (AM), Agile Data (AD), Enterprise Unified Process (EUP), and Agile Unified Process (AUP) methodologies.
Scott holds a BSC in Computer Science and a Master of Information Science from the University of Toronto.
Mohsin Khalil is currently the Manager, Solutions Architecture at First Canadian Title. He has 14 years of experience in the Enterprise/Solutions Architecture, Software Development, and Project Management fields.
Mr. Khalil has a Masters in Engineering Management and Bachelors in Computer Science degrees. He is certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and TOGAF 8 professional.
Previously, Mohsin was the Architect at Deloitte (USA).
Shirley has a Masters Certificate in Project Management from McMaster University and George Washington University. She also holds degrees in Economics, Business and Telecommunication Network Management. 20+ years experience in Telecom and IT industry, worked on projects in Canada and Internationally.
Shirley has served as elected member on the PMI Southern Ontario Board of Directors 2002-2009. For the past 3 years she held the position of Director Programs and Professional Development for the Chapter.
Shirley has been an instructor at Ryerson University for the Project Management Certificate program since 2005. In addition she has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences in Canada and U.S.
Judith has over 33 years experience as a Business Consultant and Architect. She has served in the Financial Services Industry since 1999. She spent seven years with RBC as a business consultant and business architect and in 2006 took over the Global Business Architecture function within HSBC Enterprise Architecture until late 2009. She has participated with OMG and OpenGroup working groups as a Thought Leader influencing understanding and direction of Business Architecture.
During mid 1980s while Osman Tekes was working with a large international vendor, he began creating a model driven software development approach.
Believing that Performance Management, DWs, DMs, Business Information Systems, and Operational Application systems should be closely aligned with business strategy and directions, and should be used for competitive advantage; in 1994 Osman started ROTEK dot ca Ltd., a Toronto based consulting firm.
Over the last 19+ years, Salah has developed extensive expertise in the business and technical aspects of IM/IT. He has successfully fulfilled senior corporate roles at the GM, CIO/CTO level (OCI Inc.) while meeting the demand of highly technical consulting engagements which focused on Strategic Planning, Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture.
He is one of the EA and SOA pioneers in Canada. He led projects with Accenture, EDS, Deliotte and Touché, Bombardier, CAE System and the Canadian Government.
Ze’ev Ionis is a high achiever with over twenty-five years of in-depth Management and Project Management experience encompassing both managerial and technical experience. He has played key management roles as the head of IT in two different organizations. He has worked extensively in government (Central Government, Police and Justice Systems, Education, Health and Social Services), airline-travel, insurance and agribusiness sectors.
Horace Matthews is a Senior Management Consultant at Matfive Consulting Incorporated. He has developed, managed and advised on risk management frameworks, Program Management Offices and IT governance strategies both internationally and nationally. In healthcare, Horace has worked with Canada Health Infoway where he developed the risk management model for Canadian jurisdiction risk assessment. He also worked with University Health Network and the City of Brampton in the public sector.
Prior to his work in the public sector, Horace worked for CGI and xWave Consulting developing project management processes and models for clients.
Mr. Matthews, a certified project management professional (PMP), is a regular speaker at conferences and industry events and holds a BSc in Computer and Management Studies with post graduate studies in 'Planning and Managing Health Information Systems' at the prestigious Management Sciences for Health in Boston, Massachusetts,
An industry veteran, Dave Remmer has architected solutions in the financial, multi-media, security, manufacturing, services and health care industries. He specializes in leveraging SOA, security, and standards development to realize ongoing business value within organizations. Dave focuses on current issues in architecting enterprise solutions and how to leverage the Microsoft platform to support client’s project’s architectural success - in particular concentrating on Microsoft platform roadmap discussions and how to leverage Cloud Computing inside of organizations. He has achieved the Sun Certified Java Programmer and Sun Certified Java Architect, ITIL v3 and MOF 4 Foundation Certifications, as well as the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and other various Microsoft Certified Professional designations.
Vlad has over 10 years in IT industry, holding various designations, including P.Eng., PMP, ScrumMaster. He began his IT career as a Java developer and moved on to the architecture and management field shortly after. Konstantin Ivanov is the Solution Manager in IDS Scheer´s
Product&Solution Management Team responsible for Enterprise Architecture Management and Business-Driven SOA Solutions worldwide. In addition to EA and SOA, he is responsible for business process driven solution implementation using technologies of leading BPM and SOA providers. Konstantin holds a master’s degree in computer science and a diploma in general management from St. Petersburg State University and since 1996 he has been gaining extensive experience in the software industry.
Jerrard Gaertner is Director, Technology Assurance Services at Soberman LLP. A graduate of MIT, he is a chartered accountant (specialties in information systems auditing and IT), certified in the governance of enterprise IT, a Certified Information System Security Professional and Information Technology Certified Professional. He has conducted a wide variety of statutory computer audits, security reviews and computer fraud investigations and now advises Boards of Directors on technology strategy, IT governance and risk management. His clients include governments and public companies. 
Keith Ellis is the Vice President, Marketing at IAG Consulting (www.iag.biz) where he leads the marketing and strategic alliances efforts of this global leader in business requirements discovery and management.
Keith is a veteran of the technology services business and founder of the business analysis company Digital Mosaic which was sold to IAG in 2007. Keith's former lives have included leading the consulting and services research efforts of the technology trend watcher International Data Corporation in Canada, and the marketing strategy of the global outsourcer CGI in the financial services sector. Keith is the author of IAG's Business Analysis Benchmark - the definitive source of data on the impact of business requirements on technology projects.
As an Associate Partner at KPMG, Ian has twenty-five (25) years of experience in applying information technology to support business innovation. Ian has consulted on the development of enterprise models to solve complex business design problems in the financial services industry, manufacturing industry, software industry and the public sector. He is a member of the faculty of the Intervista Institute and has developed a certification program for Enterprise Business Architecture currently offered by Nexient Learning. 
Ken is focused on enabling the myriad aspects of the Embedded Enterprise Architecture (EEA) practice at Cisco and has specific responsibilities for the embedded engagements and resources for GET accounts.
His experience includes developing and implementing enterprise programs (Enterprise Architecture, Organizational Leadership, Change Management, Bioinformatics,) and forging necessary relationships with Legal, IT, Senior Leadership, and Lines of Business to ensure necessary commitments for success. Ken leads with a combination of technology expertise, organizational acumen, and a keen understanding of the importance of precise communication and practical governance.
He leverages coaching and mentoring to assist with behavior and culture change efforts (including organization architecture, situational leadership, leader vs. manager, and communication skills coaching).
John Clark is Director of Special Projects at Deloitte, with responsibility for managing critical technology risks through effective planning, implementation and governance. Previously Director of National Systems Architecture and PMO, with responsibility for enterprise architecture, portfolio management, IT security, business analysis and project management, John combines 22 years of IT experience with a 12-year record of successful projects at Deloitte in Canada, including technology integrations of Andersen Canada in 2002 and Deloitte Consulting in 2003.
Alana Boltwood is an independent consultant in Enterprise Architecture. She is a TOGAF Certified Practitioner who specializes in business architecture and methodology. Alana has extensive experience using the Zachman Framework and PMBoK-based project management in the Government of Ontario, where she has also contributed an integrated perspective on all the information management disciplines
Huw Morgan is the Head Architect at the City of Toronto. Huw has over 15 years of information technology experience, with a focus for the past 8 years in enterprise architecture. Huw's career spans both the private and public sectors. Some of his most recent accomplishments include: the development of the City of Toronto's e-Business Architecture framework, creation of reference architectures and reference models for CIBC, OPS and the City of Toronto, implementation of the Enterprise Architecture Program at the City of Toronto , and development of multi-year technology blueprints at multiple organizations.

and he is responsible for the delivery of flexible and integrated
information technology solutions that enable Service Excellence along with

Rob is a strategic business and technology leader who is innovative and
results driven with a proven track record of 18+ years experience planning,
developing, and implementing leading edge global business and technology
solutions to achieve business objectives in the private, public and not for
profit sector.
Mr. Simon is the President of Inflection Group, an IT strategy, architecture and governance management consulting firm based in Toronto. Larry has been helping private and public sector organizations implement Enterprise Architecture practices for over 25 years, and is also the founding President of IASA Canada.
