Aaron Middleton

Aaron Middleton has made a number of career contributions in the field of health informatics technology at both as a direct government employee as well as later in his career as a consultant. Aaron Middleton served as CIHI's Senior Consultant, Architecture and Standards and Manager of Standards Development Coordination and contributed to the implementation planning for RUP, integration of RUP and the PMO and, as the information architect for the CRDM enterprise data model project.

Aaron has held various roles at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and Health Canada including: Public Health IT Advisor, Senior Advisor Architecture and Standards, Senior Systems Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager, Senior Systems Analyst and Implementation Manager. Notably, Aaron worked as the Senior Public Health IT Advisor for the Infoway pan-Canadian Public Health Surveillance System project (Panorama) with primary responsibilities as Technical Lead for Terminology, Security, Privacy, and the Service Delivery Location and Organization Frameworks.
